This year-long residency builds a professional bridge for early-career playwrights, giving them what they really need to write – a little time, money and the occasional hug.		We love great playwrights — that's why when we find them we like to keep them around.

When something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. That's why we focus our resources on one playwright each year, providing them with not only a full-scale Off-Broadway production but also a year-long residency.		We believe deeply in our playwrights and the plays we produce, so we developed an uncommon solution to the very common theater problem, “Premiere-itis.”
